About me...
My name is Tracey and this is my cyberspace park bench.
I am a Christian, a mom, a wife, a daughter, a friend, a teacher, and a student.
I graduated in May from American International College, obtaining my Master's in Arts in Educational Psychology.
I want to be a guidance counselor, if I can get a job.
I am also an American, and proud of it.
Yes, I am a working mom, but What mom is not working?
My job away from home is a high school Spanish teacher.
What else can I say about me?
I have two wonderful sons, Mitchell (9) and Joseph (5). They are
the light of my life. They are involved with Tae Kwon Do and Mitch is a Bear in Cub Scouts. This spring Mitch wants to play baseball and Joey wants to play soccer (how will I deal with it all???).
We also are very active in our church.
The three of us attend worship services and Spiritual Formation classes at
Evangelical Covenant Church in Springfield, MA. For the past two summers I was the director of the church's Vacation Bible School. This year, I'm taking a break from VBS. I'll help, but I have handed over the reigns to another wonderfully capable woman, Kathy, who is also Joey's
Sunday School Teacher.
My husband, Brian, of nearly 13 years is a police officer for the City of Springfield. He is Roman Catholic, so he does not attend functions at our church. This can be a strain sometimes, but we've managed to do ok despite the difference in beliefs. He is supportive of the boys being raised at my church, which is a huge plus.
My interests include working on this website, playing with PSP 7.0, and being with my children. I know how to SCUBA dive, but I hate doing it in the cold northern water, so I avoid going unless we are diving in the Caribbean somewhere.
I also enjoy working out at the gym, but that's mostly a necessity to help me with stress management. I tend to get terrible tension head aches, am unaffected by OTC medications, and the only thing that seems to help is exercise. So...I think that's all about me.
How about my site? I started this site in January of 2002,
I continue to learn and expand. The site is a reflection of me,
and some of the things that have helped to strengthen and sustain
me in my many roles.
To begin, this site is about Strengthening Relationships:
With family, friends and with your Savior, Jesus.
It's also about having fun and learning.
